Quiet Morning at The Cove, Maine

I am drawn to the sea. As Fall arrives the sun lowers in the sky and the shadows are long. I spent a peaceful couple of hours plein air painting this waterside home deep in the shadows of the pines on a cove in Northern Maine working on my shadow darks first.
