oil on panel. I painted a smaller study on site using water miscible paints. At home in my studio, I painted a larger piece using regular oils and a limited complementary palette of blue and orange. I used two blues: ultramarine blue and phthalo blue. I used three oranges: cadmium orange plus a red orange and a yellow orange. Plus white.
