Mighty Colorado - Grand Canyon National Park

The mighty Colorado River carved the Grand Canyon. From a distance as in this view, the river seems a slight blue ribbon that hides its power. Human pressures and development have greatly reduced the volume of water of the river and endangered the Grand Canyon ecosystem.
