Rocky Mountain Clearing

After a full day of raining hard in Estes Park during the Estes Park Plein Air event there was this parting of the storm clouds and clearing for the sun to break through just before sunset. The luminous quality of the light stopped me in my tracks and I pulled over immediately to capture it. I used a limited palette to mix the variety of subtle warms and cools.
