“Yesterday” was inspired by a childhood memory of a place I called home by the sea. Theme of emigrating, an exploration of its oftentimes contradictory effects, of stability and impermanence, freedom & captivity, social integration vs living on a periphery. The idea of collage as mosaic to represent differences coexisting in harmony.
