"Sun Will Still Rise Tomorrow", 24"x36", oil on canvas. Life isn't always a smooth voyage, as a matter of fact, more often than not, we all have to deal with hardships along the journey. Being an artist, I'm naturally susceptible to feelings and emotions. One thing I've learned over the years is that feelings and emotions come and go fast, I can't let them get the best of me. Whenever I get frustrated or upset by the nonsense that we all have to deal with from time to time, I resort back to my inner peace and acknowledge that "sun will still rise tomorrow", it's not the end of the world, so take a good night's rest, and tomorrow a new day begins. This mentality has taken me further into making peace with life in general, understanding that there's only so much within my own control, for example, learning how to cook better, dance better, paint better, and become a better person. Things that are beyond my control are best left in God's hands, or whichever spiritual being's you believe in.
