Gundogan

I painted this while on vacation with my family in Turkey. I set up a few mornings in a row and befriended the fishermen who docked their boats immediately behind me. They would move their Vespas out of my way so I could paint in the same spot each day. The restaurant owner across the street - an artist! - helped me with taxis and the entire process restored my faith in humanity, as it always does when I paint in public.
