My studio is located on my 10 acre farm in south Langley, British Columbia . Life drawing is a major part of my art practice which then leads me to a stronger depth of knowledge in my figurative oil paintings. Story telling , expressive brush strokes, mysterious passages, are things that I strive to achieve in each painting. My friend “ Kat in vintage peasant blouse “ came to visit me during the height of Covid restrictions. Social distancing and masks made the visit mysterious indeed. Sitting in my kitchen drinking coffee, I knew she would make for a strong subject to paint.
