Razor Wire

My piece "Razor Wire" is about finding a sense of safety and belonging. Humanity’s place within the natural world influences my work. New York City, its people and the resilient bits of nature that survive have become my inspiration. I primarily work in charcoal. I find the velvety blackness a perfect medium to convey the feel of urban landscape.
