This painting is at place I started plein air painting back in 2017 (Santee lakes, Ca). Now in 2022 I wanted to do a larger outdoor painting but was waiting for the right moment. Then one morning while I was fishing, I had to put the rods away and try to capture the sunrise before it was gone. It was originally started on location but finished in the studio
