My husband and I frequently drive north-south interstates . I've been fascinated by trucks and truckers with fond childhood memories of family trips. After several years of driving and thinking about creating road paintings I finally started. Struck by the play of light in the sky and this truck, I quickly took a cell phone photo as we past. This painting is an homage to all the truckers who make that early morning and late night haul to transport our goods to make our country work .
