I painted this on site, day one of the Pacific Northwest Plein Air Competition at Maryhill Museum of Art. We had perfect conditions, on Mt Hood not too much wind, and a bright blue sky.
There was lots of energy on Day One of the competition, and it's fun to paint with friends!
