This painting was created over the course of 6 or 7 days at a favorite location in Gloucester, MA. Near high tide the ocean started to surge into this tidal pool and was trapped there as the tide retreated. The water stayed there for me to paint but any breeze made for a challenge as it shifted the color and values.
