Prairie Dance

There is a point along the Trans-Canada highway in Saskatchewan where you can see for miles in the distance. Every time we head west it tugs at me! So in September of 2021, I snapped a shot out my window as my husband was driving. And then this past spring took the opportunity to paint it in my home studio. To me the meeting of land and the vast skies is the most fantastic artistry because it really appears alive. That's why I call it "Prairie Dance". You can feel both the grasses and the clouds dancing with the unseen wind. And the cattle get to feed and rest and anchor it in.
