Vernazza Doorway

I'm always exploring passageways of European Villages looking for treasures to paint. This old doorway showed life with it's flowers, a touch a beauty everywhere. With so many textures to paint, from the plants and ceramic pots, to the wooden door, metal details, and old stone walls I could approach the scene using a variety of techniques as I layered up my Watercolors.
