Afternoon Gathering

The entire landscape section was created "en plein air". I set the canvas on the "tailgate" of my van, and parked at the bottom of my dirt driveway. Good thing this was created when it was, the new neighbors who moved in on the adjoining 10 acres, cut down all the trees that are in this painting!
I then returned to the studio and created my "Women in White" accompanied by the white geese from personal photo reference. I have always had a "love affair" with the color WHITE...because it can be every color in the rainbow!
